Keep a comparable answer record
Use one row per observation. The file contains illustrative prompts and blank result fields; replace them with questions relevant to your customers.
Separate discovery from brand checks
Discovery questions describe a need without naming your brand. Brand checks ask about your business directly. Keep the groups separate when reporting mentions and citations.
Save the conditions and evidence
Record the exact question, platform or API, available model information, market, language, date, answer and cited URLs. Keep failed requests separate from answers with no mention.
Repeat the same questions
Keep question wording and conditions stable for comparisons. Record changes to the question set or website. An authored prompt is a test input, not a count of real customer searches.
